OSCA ECOstudies Program

OSCA ECOstudies ProgramThe ECOstudies Program is a network of environmental educators offering hands-on, interactive, and accessible programs designed just for you and your students. The Program promotes education on local habitats (spaces), local wildlife (species) and human interactions with the landscape (sustainability). By gaining knowledge, skills, values and taking action, students develop their understanding and awareness of ecology in the South Okanagan and Similkameen valleys.

The ECOstudies Program is available to School Districts 53 and 67, First Nations schools, alternative schools, and home learners. Programming is also available to youth organizations such as Scouts, Girl Guides, Boys and Girls Clubs, etc. Classes cover provincially required Prescribed Learning Outcomes for multiple subjects and are available to both Elementary grades (K-7) and Secondary grades (8-12).

Note: ECOstudies Programs will not be running during Fall/Winter 2011/2012.
